Opening CoLab

The new CoLab @ EPFL, at Rolex Learning Center in Lausanne, Switzerland, brings together research, development, and presentation to create an inviting and multifunctional space. CoLab’s spatial flexibility allows adjustments to accommodate an array of scenarios. In it’s everyday set-up, students are furnished with a comfortable, round-the-clock lounge. An additional workshop room provides space for private meetings.

Opening Gender and Violence

Gender and violence have always had a complex and often unsettling relationship. There is a persistence in attributing war with the masculine, peace with the feminine. A special exhibition at Military History Museum examines the phenomenon from unexpected angles and challenges established notions.

The installation "targeted interventions" conquers the museum’s yard for the time of the exhibition: Contemporary artists present their positions regarding the interplay of violence and gender.

The exhibition is shown from April 27 to October 30, 2018.

Designed Memories
