End of Summer Term 2021 at PBSA

Professor Barbara Holzer, together with Professor Tanja Kullack and Professor Markus Pasing, taught the curated course "The Vertical Village" for the Master of Architecture and Interior Design at the Peter Behrens School of Arts. The students developed their projects from the first sketch to the final elaboration in groups and with input from external specialists.

Professor Barbara Holzer teaches together with Professor Tanja Kullack and Prof. Markus Pasing the curated study "The Vertical Village" at the Peter Behrens School of Arts | Master Architecture and Interior Design. An existing high-rise residential building with commercial base from the 1970s is to become a pilot project for transformation through upcycling | reprogramming | rethinking – a hybrid building complex for which living, working, leisure and retreat will be reimagined.

Final Review 'Curated Studies'

A review followed by a get-together closes the first assignment that has been completed by the participants of the first 'curated studies' at Peter Behrens School of Arts in Dusseldorf in the winter semester 2017/18. A group of professors and their students collaborated with the Internationale Bauausstellung Thuringia working on the relation of the urban and the rural examining the city of Apolda.

Pilot Project 'Curated Studies'

For the first time, the Peter Behrens School of Arts (PBSA) in Dusseldorf offers in the winter semester 2017/18 Curated Studies. In this pilot project, 12 professors join forces with the Internationale Bauausstellung Thuringia (IBA). The project is part of a planned longterm collaboration.
