End of Summer Term 2021 at PBSA

Professor Barbara Holzer, together with Professor Tanja Kullack and Professor Markus Pasing, taught the curated course "The Vertical Village" for the Master of Architecture and Interior Design at the Peter Behrens School of Arts. The students developed their projects from the first sketch to the final elaboration in groups and with input from external specialists. Using Upcycling | Reprogramming | Rethinking, they created novel concepts for a 1970s high-rise residential building in Cologne with a commercial base, which was to be designed as a hybrid building complex for living, working, leisure and retreat and as a pilot project for transformation.
