The intervention by participants of the studio "Scenic Spaces" of PBSA I HSD in cooperation with #ADA aims at challenging economic growth and private consumption — and at offering alternatives. Will we have to do with less in the future, and how can we free 'less' from connotations such as failure or setback? How can we achieve sufficiency? How can buzz word sharing economy contribute to more fairness in society? And who is provided that what actually "ready to share"?

Invited by IG Architektur, a panel of experts in serial housing have gathered for discussing serial construction. Berlin office director Philip Norman Peterson has presented the student housing project Frankie&Johnny, focussing on its modular design and pre-fabricated elements. Meanwhile, the container cluster in Berlin-Treptow is growing.
The singular success of London-originated initiative „Open House“ led to the format’s spreading to many other cities. Zurich joined in 2016. This year, the second annual Open House Zurich makes accessible a wide selection of private and public buildings. Among them is residential building and studio ELLI, where visitors can learn about this custom-tailored redensification project via guided tours on September 30th, 2017, from 10 am to 3 pm.
A podium is held on the occasion of the building project new Bauhaus-Museum in Weimar. Among the speakers are Heike Hanada, who has won the architectural competition, and Barbara Holzer, who is in charge of the exhibition design.

The international group exhibition "Planet B - 100 Ideas for a New World" engages with the radical changes of our planet - and looks for a plan B for the future everyone is dreaming of. The NRW Forum in cooperation with partners such as the Peter Behrens School of Arts presents a selection of artists, designers, architects, scientists and entrepreneurs present their utopias for the 22nd century.
On the 8th July 2016, the semester presentation of the students of PBSA takes place within the program of Planet B, titled "In Search of Tomorrow's (Housing Design) Culture".
Holzer Kobler Architekturen are participating with two projects in this year’s "Day of Architecture 2016" in Germany on the upcoming weekend of June 25/26th, 2016: The container village EBA51 in Berlin and the Wadden Sea Visitor Center in Cuxhaven. Following this year’s theme "architecture for everyone" a large selection of architecture projects all over Germany are open to visitors this coming weekend.
