The intervention by participants of the studio "Scenic Spaces" of PBSA I HSD in cooperation with #ADA aims at challenging economic growth and private consumption — and at offering alternatives. Will we have to do with less in the future, and how can we free 'less' from connotations such as failure or setback? How can we achieve sufficiency? How can buzz word sharing economy contribute to more fairness in society? And who is provided that what actually "ready to share"?
Interior design students from University of Applied Sciences in Dusseldorf have done research on sharing in their immediate environment by talking to people in the streets in different areas of Cologne. These interviews have resulted in an intervention at the NRW-Forum, whose visitors are invited to participate. A public discussion will be held on April 6, 2018.
