Curated Studies: Köln-Bonner Strasse
Uta Winterhagen

In the winter semester 2017/2018 Barbara Holzer and Tanja Kullack presented for the first time and as a pilot project the "Curated Studies" at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, Peter Behrens School of Arts (PBSA). Designed as part of a long-term cooperation, academics and external studios engage in joint projects as part of the Master's semester program entitled "Architecture and Interior Design". By way of a dialogue-based exchange of ideas, the students, supported by inhouse and external experts, concentrate on all relevant problems in a practical, urban context, using different strategic approaches to find solutions and develop visionary projects.

In the magazine "Bauwelt" with its actual focus on "The Street", journalist Uta Winterhager presents the current programme of the PBSA Summer Semester Curated Studies | Köln-Bonner Strasse.
