Jury at the Golden Trezzini Awards

Tristan Kobler participates again as jury member at the Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design in St. Petersburg (Russia). The Awards are taking place since 2018, called after Domenico Trezzini (1670—1734), the first architect of St. Petersburg and a native of Switzerland. The Awards Ceremony will take place on December 1, 2020, at Peter and Paul Fortress in St. Petersberg.

The Best Family Home 2020

In November, the Prize for The Best Family Home 2020 and The Special Prize Energy will be awarded. Barbara Holzer will preside over the jury, which she will attend together with Patrick Schmid (Architect Schmid Schärer Architekten), Dominic Meister (Architect, designer Dost Architektur), Marc Briefer (Interior designer) and Anita Simeon Lutz (Architect and editor-in-chief of Das Ideale Heim). The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 5:00 pm at the Swissbau in Basel.

Tristan Kobler participates as jury member at the Golden Trezzini Awards for Architecture and Design in St. Petersburg (Russia). The Awards are taking place since 2018, called after Domenico Trezzini (1670—1734), the first architect of St. Petersburg, and a native of Switzerland. The Awards Ceremony will take place on the 27th of November at the Peter and Paul Fortress in St. Petersberg.

Graduates’ Travel Grant

The Helmut-Hentrich-Foundation, established in 2001, invites BA graduates in architecture to apply for two travel grants over 5000 EUR. The foundation’s goal is to reward excellent bachelor theses.

Barbara Holzer, professor for design at the Peter Behrens School of Arts in Dusseldorf, is a member of the jury that selects the grant holders. Submission deadline is May 18, 2018.

DETAIL Prize 2018

Barbara Holzer is a member of the jury who will award this year’s DETAIL prize. From April 3rd to 30th, 2018, planners can submit projects realised anywhere in the world for all building types that are characterised by special details within a coherent overall concept.

Wanted: House of the Year 2018

The competition of the house of the year 2018 is launched. Projects of studios in German-speaking regions completed after 2015 can now be submitted. As winner of last year’s award with residential building and studio ELLI, Barbara Holzer was invited to join the jury.
