Heinze ArchitektenAWARD 2019 | Category Special BIM Award

Holzer Kobler Architekturen and wörner traxler richter have received the Heinze ArchitektenAWARD 2019 in the category Special BIM Award for the hospital project "Universitäre Altersmedizin Felix Platter" in Basel. It has been planned and executed by using the BIM technology. The jury acknowleges the consistently high quality of the BIM processes and the remarkable execution of building and architecture.

The project INSIDE Boutique Center has made it among the finalists for the Architizer A+Awards for the Shopping Center category. There will be two awards: The Jury Award and the Popular Choice Award. The online public chooses the latter — all support is much appreciated!

UNESCO World Natural Heritage Wadden Sea Visitor Center has received a Special Mention in the Architizer A+Awards for the Museum category.

Houses of the Year 2018 Wanted

Now or never! Until February 09 , 2018 projects of studios in German-speaking regions completed after 2015 can be submitted at the Houses of the Year competition. The prize is awarded the Callwey publishing house and the Deutsches Architekturmuseum DAM. As winner of last year’s 1st prize with residential building and studio ELLI, Barbara Holzer was invited to join the jury to select this year’s winner.

ELLI Wins Next Award

ELLI has been also selected best single family home in Switzerland! The small high-riser has been awarded the said trophy at Swissbau Trade Fair in Basel; ELLI shares the first prize with the project Haus am Müseliweg by studio Schmid Schärer Architekten.

The award "Das Beste Einfamilienhaus" (best single family home) has been established in 2005 by the magazine Das Ideale Heim. Marianne Burkhalter (chair), Daniel Buchner, Corinna Menn, Charles Pictet and Karl Viridén have built this year’s jury.
